Antique Violin ANTONIO LECHI - Italy 1923

"To send light into the darkness of men’s hearts—such is the duty of the artist." -Robert Schumann

Beautiful antique Italian violin. Fully restored to showroom condition, with new pegs, new Evah Pirazzi strings, new Despiau bridge, new Wittner tailpiece.

Antonio Lechi was a violin maker in Cremona Italy. This violin has an exceptionally beautiful sound, with a clear and resonant voice which has matured as the violin has aged. Beautiful tonewoods shape the identity of this instrument, which has been carefully restored by Phil Whitehead and we offer to you in superb condition. Photos available on request.
